1 year...

It's been one year that we're without our sweet Dozer. Our lives still aren't the same without him...never will be. He was such a special boy. So sweet and fun and just plain wonderful. He fit into our family so perfectly. It's been so difficult without him for all of us. My 4 year old daughter still cries over him. It's hard to see her so upset yet I also think it's amazing they had such a strong bond. He loved her so much and she felt the same.

Our hearts are still broken and we miss him terribly...

We love you Dozer!!

Jen,
I too have had a recent death anniversary for my Indiana Jones. I'm not sure what I expected to feel, but it was wretched. Just wretched.

I feel bad for your daughter as I have lost dogs at a young age as well and it was a strange place for me to be as a child, dealing with death so close.

my heart is with all of your family.

Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.............................................

I know exactly how you feel. There is such an empty hole in our souls. They brought us so so so much happiness and joy and we were so blessed by their lives.

I have taken "Max" in about a month ago for exactly the same bump behind his pad. He had a biopsy done on Friday and this morning I got the phone call. He is only 6 and healthy otherwise, so my choice if no other tumors are detected are paw amputation and prosthetic lower leg. I am still in shock and denial today, but know I Must act quickly. Financing procedures are my only hurdle at this point, but I'll figure out something, I know. my condolences for Dozer
